Kakacek clan

I am loving these pics and this family of 5!

I worked for Liz about 4 years ago and was so excited to get together with her again and to meet her beautiful growing family. Her and her husband, Pete, just welcomed their third child Zander 3 months ago. It was very clear how much this new little guy is loved by not only Mom and Dad but also big sis, Isabel, and big bro, Paxton. They would literally fight over who got to hold him for each photo, too cute!

The Kakacek family, thanks for welcoming me into your home and I hope you like these as much as I do!

Sarah's Bat Mitzvah

I had the pleasure of attending and photographing my first Bat Mitzvah. I wasn't sure what to expect since I had never been to one before, but I was blown away.

First by Sarah, a beautiful young woman who stood in front of all her family and friends for over 2 hours basically conducting the ceremony. There is no way I could have done that at the age of 12, in fact I couldn't do that today!!

Then, by her family. At the end of the ceremony she gave a speech to her Mom and Dad and then each of them to her. I was in tears over the emotion between these people that I had just met!

And lastly, by the fun that was had afterwards! They sure know how to party. The dance floor was filled for hours.

Enjoy!

Savannah

I haven't seen Savannah since she was 9 months old, she is a little over 2 now and as soon as she got out of the car she went right to me and gave me a kiss smack on the lips! I could not believe it!!

She cracked me up as her parents, Wendy and Jason, and I chased her around the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago. She seriously has the. cutest. run. ever!

Meet Savannah...

My first Wedding Story: Woody and Ginny

The preparation,

the details,

the bride,

the groom,

the ceremony,

(I love all the emotion in this photo as Ginny reads her personally written vows)

the kiss,

the people,

the moments,

(I certainly hold a special place in my heart when it comes to father-daughter relationships and this father-daughter dance in particular was so special that both Cara and I were fighting back tears, I couldn't narrow down my favorites from the dance to less than 5!)

the happy couple,

The End.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I did watching the real story unfold!

Woody and Ginny, I can't thank you enough for letting me be a part of your special day.
